|A Professional Certification in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
qualifies all liscenced health care professionals in the
state of connecticut including MD, DO, DC, DDS, DDM,
DPM, DPT, ND, PT, APRN and PA to practice
acupuncture under the professional scope of their
respective licensure upon completion and certification
of this course.
Connecticut General Statutes requires Liscenced
Health Care Professional's who wish to practice
acupuncture under their professional scope of
liscensure a minimum of one hundred hours of
In States where no number of hours are specified, it is
generally recommended that liscenced health care
practitioners have at least 100 hour of acupuncture
Professional Liability Insurance Companies generally
require at least 100 hours of training, in order to add
acupuncture to a DCs coverage.
The NBCE requires at least 100 hours of training, in
order to sit for their acupuncture exam.
|Chiropractic Continuing Education
This course will provide Chiropractic Physicians with 48
CEU's sponsored by an accredited university.
The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners accepts
this entire certification program as a pre-requisite to sit
for the NBCE Acupuncture Board Certification
Continuing Education for Chiropractic Physicians is
sponsored by an accredited university.
Physical Therapy Continuing
Each licensee applying for licence renewal shall complete
a minimum of 20 hours during the one year period for
which the licesnce is being renewed. This course
qualifies Physical Therapy Applicants to recieve a total of
40 CEU's upon completion and certification of this course.
