|A Professional Certification in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
qualifies all liscenced health care professionals in the
state of connecticut including MD, DO, DC, DDS, DDM,
DPM, DPT, ND, PT, APRN and PA to practice
acupuncture under the professional scope of their
respective licensure upon completion and certification
of this course.
Connecticut General Statutes requires Licensed Health
Care Professionals who wish to practice acupuncture
under their professional scope of licensure a minimum
of one hundred hours of acupuncture training.
In States where no number of hours are specified, it is
generally recommended that licensed health care
practitioners have at least 100 hour of acupuncture
Professional Liability Insurance Companies generally
require at least 100 hours of training, in order to add
acupuncture to a DC's coverage.
The NBCE requires at least 100 hours of training, in
order to sit for their chiropractic acupuncture exam.
|Chiropractic Continuing Education
This course will provide Chiropractic Physicians with 48
CEU's sponsored by an accredited university.
The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners accepts
this entire certification program as a pre-requisite to sit
for the NBCE Acupuncture Board Certification
Continuing Education for Chiropractic Physicians is
sponsored by an accredited university.

LAC, Licensed Acupuncturist.
Completing this course does not grant you
the right to designate yourself as a Licensed
Acupuncturist, LAC. A Licensed
Acupuncturist must complete a Masters
Program in Acupuncture by an accredited
college program and pass the national board
examination administered by the NCCAOM.
